Christmas.... Rohlfing Style

Christmas was an absolute BLAST this year. Santa stopped by on the the Eve and was very good to all of us.

We started Christmas Eve and Nannie and Papa Rohlfings.
]

Z's favorite gift (at the time) was the tool bench from Uncle Lee (sorry Ramie)

We had a nice visit from Z's cousin Brayden in all the way from NY. He's a big boy just like Z, they got along pretty well unti Z got upset with the amount of attention Brayden was getting and turned into "Ugly Baby"

This was the one moment that Z was being cuddly:)

Santa brought Z a helicopter ball pit and even blew it up before he left.
Ozzie got a new bed (now there will be more room in mine)

Z would open the gifts and couldn't get them to Daddy fast enough to get them out.
Christmas Day brought G'randmama, Aunt Nennie, Aunt Sar Sar, and Uncle Eck down to visit and boy did Z make out like a bandit.

Hope your Holiday was as fun as ours!!!

We're Still Here Again

It's been a little too long since our last post and we vow to be better bloggers in 2009 (for our like 3 fans that check frequently, you know who you are). Anyway, the following pics are a litle of what we have been up to in the past few weeks! Enjoy

We Spent Thanksgiving at Nannie and Papa Rohlfings. Ozzie ate too much

Z got into everything as usual

Joe put up the Christmas tree which I decorated then Z un-decorated

This is Z's favorite piece of "Holiday Decor" He can stare at that for hours.

Z preparing for all of my hard work to go "bye-bye" as he un-decorates the tree.

We're Still Here!

It's been awhile since we posted anything but we have been extremely busy with work, playing, being sick, a little road trip here and there. Wednesday night we thought we would carve our pumpkin. Here are some of our pics from the evenings event.

Z's "Ball"

Z was very concerned about what daddy was doing to his "ball"

His only comments were that the "ball was stinky"

It turned out very nice! Yes, it has triangle eyes and a triangle nose but we had fun
(and Z could not give up the spoons)

Great Grandparents!

The past few months have been pretty rough in my family. We have lost 3 grandparents in the past 4 months (which is why I haven't posted anything in the past few days). I thought I would take a second to post a few pics of Z's great grandparents (and mine and Joe's).

10.07 Trick or Treating at Grandma's
3.07 Grandpa's 90th Birthday Party I Was Very Fat! 8 mo pregnant (and yes, I have food on my shirt)

Great Grandpa Al (9.08, a few weeks before he died)

Grandma Doris and Z (5.07)
This has always been 1 of my favorite pictures! (11.07)

Magic House Trip

Today we planned to head to the St. Louis Zoo for Rohlfing Family Funday, however with the unpredictable weather we thought we should stick to an indoor activity. This was Z's 2nd trip to the Magic House in Kirkwood but was a little more active this trip! So active, that he will randomly just take off. Here are a few of our pics from the days events.

This time, we let him do the water activities
We don't know what Grandma said, but it must have been funny

Z's Growing Up:(

Zach is no longer my sweet little baby! He is all boy and I'm kind of a little sad about it. No more cuddling with mommy or daddy, he's just too busy. We went to see Dr Dorfman on Friday and boy has Z grown since our last visit, we is now weighing in at 31 lbs and is 35.5 inches tall. Finally his weight is starting to taper off but he just keeps growing, he's off the charts for his age. Also, I would like to add, she said that he is "very smart" because he can say Ozzie very well and "it is rare for a child his age especially a boy to say so many words"

This past weekend was my 10 year class reunion so Z and I headed up north again to catch up with some old friends. We had a great time, Z spent the night with Grandma on Saturday night while mommy went out and partied (a lot). So much that I didn't get to take many pictures with my new camera (more to come on that later) Anyway, here are a few of our pics from the weekend!

We spent some time with Grandma!

I have never seen anyone eat a banana faster than Z

The End of Summer!

This weekend officially marks the end of summer (and Daddy's birthday). We had a ton of fun this summer visiting family and friends, weekends at the park and trips to the pool. One of the our favorite trips to the pool was when our friends Tyler and Andrew came over! It's hard to believe but Z and Tyler are only 2 months apart!

Our Trip to See Grandpa

Last month, Z and I traveled up north to spend some time with my family. Z had a lot of fun, he went to the park with papa, hit up the water park with his Aunts and even spent the night wiht Grandma! Here are a few of the pics

Our Family

I think this is my favorite one!

It seems that this is the new thing so I thought we would try something new instead of sending pics all the time we now have a Rohlfing Family Blog. Check back whenever to see all the "crazy" things the Rohlfing Family is up to. To start things off I thought I would post a few of our family pictures we had done a few weeks ago by our good friend Beth of Bethberryphotography (http://bethberrypictures.blogspot.com/). She is very talented and we always lover her pics (especially the ones of Zach). Enjoy, feel free to check back often.
